Driver's sudden lane change injures biker and pillion rider at Woodlands checkpoint

A driver's sudden change of lane at Woodlands Checkpoint caused a biker and his female pillion rider to skid and fall.

The driver did not stop to assist the injured and drove off.

The Stomp contributor wrote:

"A grey MPV decided to pop out from the queue towards the Woodlands Checkpoint viaduct and caused a biker and pillion rider to skid on Feb 15.

"The driver did not stop to provide assistance.

"I stayed until the LTA Marshall and tow truck came.

"I should have stopped the MPV immediately, but at the point of incident my concern was the rider, and totally forgot about the driver.

"Please share to raise awareness for drivers to do proper checks, a second of recklessness can cause a lot of misery to others."
